Phinix, LLC was selected as one of 24 projects to receive The REMADE Institute’s latest round of funding for a research contract for its project “Selective Recovery of Elements from Molten Aluminum Alloys.” This project will enhance the economics and recyclability of aluminum scrap and secondary alloys—a technology-based solution in making.

Major global aluminum producers are finally realizing the implication of cutting down their carbon footprint and producing low carbon aluminum. Sustainability is now an integral part of industry growth plans and policy strategies.
